Neurogenic bladder dysfunction after total mesorectumectomy

AIM: to estimate the rate, causes and features of neurogenic bladder dysfunction in patients with rectal cancer after total mesorectumectomy. PATIENTS AND METHODS: results surgical treatment 103 were analyzed light immediate long-term outcomes, who underwent mesorectumectomy using traditional (56-54.4%) laparoscopic (47-45.6%) technologies. In 20 (19.4%) patients, course postoperative period was complicated by development dysfunction. order study frequency depending on technique mesorectumectomy, divided into 2 groups. Group 1 included 9 11patients (open) RESULTS: functional state according flowmetric indicators revealed that has a gender dependence. The 25% men 10,7% women. It is shown during week 6 months surgery, average urination rate tends increase women decrease men, regardless both groups, there not statistically significant maximum volumetric velocity within surgery. At same time, this period, only And women, indicator remained unchanged or slightly increased. CONCLUSION: it complex system therapeutic measures, including drug stimulation detrusor urethral sphincter, repeated catheterization bladder, as well epicystostomy performed indications, allows adequate correction cancer.
